How the 90/180 Rule Works
You can spend a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day rolling window in the Schengen Area. The window is constantly moving, not tied to a calendar year.
On any given day, count back 180 days. If 90 or more of those days were spent in Schengen, you must leave (or stay out). Both your entry day and exit day count as Schengen days.
